Innovation Certification Programs
To help organizations reduce the risks and costs associated with innovation efforts, establish best practices, and identify those individuals who have demonstrated their ability to deliver valuable real-life consistent results in the realm of innovation, IPI offers two Innovation Certification programs; namely, a comprehensive Innovation Professional Certification and a specialized Strategic Innovation Professional Certification.
Overall Certification Requirements
To become certified, a candidate has to meet the following requirements.
- Complete required courses
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully apply the learned material to the real-life projects with the projects success being determined and verified by the management of an organization that benefits as a result of the applicant’s activities. Verification is provided in the form of a letter confirming practical value of the project results.
- Satisfy the time requirements by completing the projects (including submission of the report) within a predetermined period after completing the course.

Innovation Professional Certification Program
IPI Innovation Professional Certification program has three levels: Innovation Green Belt™, Innovation Black Belt™, and Innovation Master Black Belt™. Together, they cover the entire range of GTI applications. By completing the requirements and earning a certificate, a professional can expect the following benefits.
- Complete mastery / self-sufficiency over a respective set of GTI applications, which is achieved through education and practical application of GTI to projects
- Instant professional recognition in the field of innovation
- Instant access to the IPI Global Network of Innovation Professionals

Innovation Green Belt™
This certification level requires completion of the course containing the following major subjects.
- Analysis and solution of system-related problems – 1
- An innovation-based cost reduction
- Forecasting the evolution of a system

Innovation Black Belt™
This certification level requires completion of the course containing the following major subjects.
- Analysis and solution of system-related problems – 2
- Failure prevention
- Competitive patent analysis

Innovation Master Black Belt™
This certification level requires completion of the course containing the following major subjects.
